Welcome to my Homepage!
I currently work as a Senior Manager, Biostatistics in the Global Biometrics and Data Sciences (GBDS), Oncology group at Bristol Myers Squibb.
I completed my PhD in Statistics from the Department of Statistics, University of Florida. My doctoral advisor was Dr. Kshitij Khare, and my co-advisor was Dr. Rohit Patra.
My PhD dissertation focuses on the problem of non-parametric function estimation & inference with practical applications in e-commerce and economics, and the convergence properties of Markov chains arising from Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC). My other research interests include the following:
High-dimensional Bayesian inference.
Multi-task regression.
Large deviations and asymptotics in higher-order Markov random fields, particularly in tensor Ising models in statistical physics.
My research has applications in broad areas such as genetics (multiple testing problems), economics (utility and production function estimation and binary response models), and Physics, among other fields.
